Laser Treatments or Accutane??

My doctor thinks I should do laser treatments for my acne She says it will shrink my pores and will also kill bacteria and should clear up all of my acne without putting harmful things into my body. Has anyone had any experiance with this?

My dermatologist says that I should go on accutane witch I know will definately work in about 3 months but it is harmful for your body.

I don't know what to do I need to decide today!!! :)

Accutane is the way to go. Most of the bad stuff you hear about Accutane is Urban Legend. The only big issue is for women as pregnancy during Accutane treatment is extreeeemely bad as it will cause deformaties, etc.

Laser treatment would be something to consider after Accutane treatment.

My son has been on accutane for 4 months now. No problems or issues at all.

I went today to get my first prescription for accutane... I don't know whats wrong with me but lately Ive been harsh on Dr's I guess. I am upset! The first time I went to this dermo she spoke to my mom mostly in a foreign language. I remeraber her saying the cost would be X amount. So I went today and I found out that I had to pay the X amount + the amount that accutane will cost me, 200 being the cheapest I guess for a non brand name of accutane! And my treatment is suppose to last 5 months :S

This is going to be very costly!
