this really doesnt make sense to me

Now you come to mention it maybe its Mr. Dellaware (sorry I think I got his name wrong!) the teacher, teaching didnt work out 4 him so he went into the postal service :D

Lmao, if it were David Cameron that would be a very original way to get votes! Have you DC ever thought of being a publicist? ;)

In rewatching Julia's "Who Do You Think You Are?" episode (Kyrsten, your copy will go out in the mail tomorrow) I noticed that Julia's maternal grandfather's last name was....wait for it.................

Lane!

Love it! :D

I found some old audio tapes at my local library, I will have a look on line to see if there is anything still about, I actually listened to the episode where Phil's first wife Grace died in the fire. It was horrific!
I remember another episode when Shula was a teenager and was having an affair with a married man.
Lilian has been a great addition to the series in recent years.
She originally married a rich businessman called Ralph Bellamy who was old, they lived in Guernsey, she died, had a facelift, got herself a toyboy called Scott and returned to Ambridge. Brenda Tucker tried to pinch Scott off her. He was a cad anyway but there has always been animosity between Brenda and Lilian because of that.
There are plenty of books around about the Archers ( I have 'em all:rolleyes:)

Best one this series!!

So pleased i didnt give up it as i had planned too.

Just one thing..Are the sisters really mother and daugther i always get the feeling that something is amiss with the older one.

What a lovely story. Hope your mum is feeling better.

If only British people appreciated British TV shows as much as you do. In the UK everyone is so harsh about everything of late. LRTC has been described as "a pale Little House On the Prairie" imitation with "dull" storylines and "brilliant TV for insomniacs".

Of course the 6-7 million people who watch it week after week disagree. I guess, we in the UK undervalue everything that's good about our country (and there are loaRAB of great things here) including our TV. Out of interest Sherry, have you ever seen Cranford? If you get a chance if you haven't, see if you can get hold of that. It's another show set in Victorian England but about some rather amusing eccentric ladies.

Nice interview and it sounRAB like they really have a fun time doing the shoots even though it must be very cold in the field.

I didn't realise that Ruby was 21 though, I thought she was only about 15

Angelheart - I'm loving your Dorcus! Please don't let any pickiness from some make you give up on us.

I thought last night's episode was just wonderful - the best of the series so far. Minny being chased by the goose, Dorcus taking the boys conkers away, Pearl leaping about in a field at the end - TV GOLD and a brilliant Candleford ensemble effort!

Rest assured - we're all on this site BECAUSE we love the show and all of you guys in it! It can't be easy being the central character but you're doing a grand job! I've never been near a forum before in my life, but this show is so good and I so look forward to my Sunday night LtC cuddle I was drawn here!

The ever developing motherly side of Dorcus is an absolute pleasure to watch. I am missing you not having a love interest this season - but I'll conceed your earlier point that Dorcus is better off this season without one. You're absolutely right Dorcus wouldn't just lurch from one chap to another. It feels wrong when Laura does it so Dorcus certainly shouldn't.

Keep up the good work and know that we're loving your efforts!

you think you look ridiculous......wow..you know your the only one who thinks that, right?

thank you for clearing up what shape the earings were:D:cool:
