Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

You are most welcome, Julia! Believe me, I'm not the only one who sees you this way. And you must never doubt that your job is worthwhile--you are a joy to watch nomatter what part you play! I hope to see you in many more shows to come. :) (And thank you for reading my post and taking the time to reply to it!) :D --Sherry

My only real problem with Laura in the latest episode was the way she spoke to Dorcas, that was rather heartless.

I know Fisher isn't exactly a saint but he just brings something out of Laura that I love to watch. Daniel is a lovely man but him and Laura lack any real chemistry in my view.

Me Five.

Angleheart, can you just tell us if Dorcas gets a very happy ending? (preferably including a wedding :D)

(I know you cant but it was worth a shot). But can she at least have a new sparing partner for series 4.

It's all about the grade.
There have been a number of times where you can clearly see the rain falling in the background of shots.
I'm all for a warming look on the picture grade, but sometimes it is a little 'hot'.

It can't be the best to be pretending it's lovely and warm whilst it's cold and pelting down with rain.
I think I'll stick with the warmth of the edit suite.

French fan here!
I discovered the series last year while studying at Edinburgh. I've actually been reading his thread for a year but never really took the time to write anything.

I am back in France now but lucky enough to be able to watch the BBC at home.

Like most of you, I felt there was something missing in the first two episodes but I really enjoyed the third one. Hope it keeps getting better.:)

And by the way, I really like your acting Julia!

Finished watching Ep 3, Ser 1. I love the little put down from Dorcas at the start to the Pratt sisters - "it's not someone to fetch his eggs he neeRAB as someone to cook them". The facial expressions are always great. She always knows how to put them in their place, good and proper:rolleyes:

Not sure I liked the off-handedness from Dorcas to Sir Tim though, (not like her) over going to the concert, but I do think he deserved it - just a little bit!!! I'd have been divorced from Lady Adelaide by now if she'd have been my wife, he should have been more stern with her over her attitude towarRAB the townsfolk and show. A little bit stuck up me thinks:rolleyes::rolleyes: NeeRAB bringing down a peg or two.

The other bit I loved was Dorcas talking to Laura and saying she was "from this day forward, going to improve and regulate no-one but herself". LOL! - no chance of that - she's got to interfere somewhere.

What about the look at the end from Dorcas over to Sir Timothy. Tugged at the old heart strings.

Roll on Ep 4.:D:D

If you are going to meet up, then I can suggest nothing better than the west country.

Somerset or Dorset, less cost compared to Big City's like London in terms of hiring hotels and B&B's.

If our American frienRAB, are to join us then, a train fare from the major airports will not be too much to add, or as locals we can pick them up from said airport and transport them.

I am a west country boy, living in the urban sprawl that is the South East of England (KENT).

Both my Wife and I love LRTC fans and would be happy to go to an event!

Apart from anything else I could go and see my mother who lives in Somerset!

Amen to that. I am still struggling on against my better judgement.

I'm convinced that even if the powers that be read this thread, they don't give a baldy about the opinions therein. This particularly applies to the Series thread.
