I agree with you about that there should be more episodes. It would have been, in my opinion, better for the BBC to commission ten episodes to make up one final series and then commit to 2 Christmas specials too. This surely would be within the cuts strategy! Mind you these young whippersnappers think they know everything!

That's the second time they advertised she was appearing on Loose Women and she didn't show. They don't give any explanation either. :( Angel Heart said she couldn't make the first time as she was snowed in. What happened today?

I'm really disappointed that there will only be 6 episodes in Series 4 as well. But, better six than none at all! I just hope the Beeb comes to its senses and listens to all the fan outrage about cutting down on such a fantastic show. Can't imagine what they're thinking.

Oh, I didn't get to watch it properly last night, I had something improtant to do before today but recorded it and meant to transfer to my hard disk before I went to bed but forgot.
This morning VM were on my doorstep at 7.55 to change my Virgin box so I haven't watched it properly and will have towait until Saturday when it repeats to record again. ( I shouldn't moan, the new box recorRAB radio which is good)

Gurney_slade, I believe what you say is correct, I've always thought that, it's just period dramas that have instilled the belief in posh accents .


I saw the dog bit and caught the last 10 mins or so and what I saw I liked so I am looking forward to watching. I will probably succumb to watching on the pc before then - but it's not the same!

I'm very glad to hear you've never heard of that happening before! It makes me feel better that there's still hope for another series. :) I've grown cynical living here where they yank my favorite shows for the stupidest reasons. It's gotten to be where I'm afraid to get too attached to any show--they can be ruthless!

Well, that is quite something!! What a way you have with worRAB. Are you a professional writer? I think when/if we have been thoroughly disappointed with the lack of appearance of Sir Tim and/or JD then I could do with a good book to curl up with which enRAB the way we on this forum want it to! Writing the history of their romance is a class idea. It took me a few episodes of that first series to work out what was going on between Dorcas and Sir Tim!

And actually the reason I joined was to praise this poem by wizzywick

This forum is great. I have been secretly reading along for ages. If Julia can relay what we want to the powers that be then we may see a proper 4th series with some returns of great people. I still haven

it's 6am here and i am headed out the door for work where i will be at for the next 10 hour:cry:

The reason she intervened last night was she was in charge of the fund so was the only one who could ask him anything....

If Dorcas wasn't in the programme I really don't think I could be bothered to watch.....funny how people's opinions are different isn't it:)
