Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

the whole nan thing confuses me too
last series towarRAB the end weren't they talking about marriage

you guys should have never gotten attached to JD

any love interest for dorcas(and Laura) will start out with them feuding at first and will be gone by the end the series

the writers have to do that to keep the story going, you knew that first time you say JD that he would leave by the end of the series just like you know that Daniel will leave by the end of this one

napkins? nappys? we call them diapers

Ah, Kilwillie!! I loved Monarch of the Glen. (Well, up until Archie left....) That would be something if they revised Upstairs Downstairs--although the original one was perfect. I'm hoping by RA you mean Richard Armitage? I'd watch him read the phone book! :D

Hi everybody - enjoying reading all your posts. Did anyone read the inteview with Julia in this weeks Hello magazine - haven't bought it myself yet. Looking forward to Sunday.

Pity they couldn't remember writing about Nan then:rolleyes:

All it needed was a mention..........just a line.......'Nan has moved away'.............Nan and Alf have split up'.............Nan has died of a terrible victorian disease'.
Continuity, Continuity, Continuity.

I should be on that programme 'Grumpy Old Women':D:D

Actually I loved this episode.....a comedy of errors:p
(well Patience should be 18 months old by now and Annie Timmins should be at least 2):p....................

Looks like things get a bit more serious next week.......could this be the tragedy mentioned in previous posts:eek:

Just wanted to add my praise for your portrayal of Dorcas, Julia - absolutely LOVE the character. Last night's episode was fantastic. The bond between Dorcas and Sidney is a joy to watch as is the way the whole 'post office family' interact with each other.

Pearls transformation was wonderful and I do hope we see more of the blossoming frienRABhip between Pearl and Dorcas.

Also, loved Margaret Brown yesterday with the undergarments - fantastic humour!

Keep up the good work LRTC!

awesome

can i just say what a huge fan i am

had press gang dvd sent all the way across the atlantic and i watch them like everyday
(and i know this is you because i am facebook frienRAB with ruby bentall and she told me so):D:D

LOL!! Thanks, Schnuki. :D
I'm being very bad right now--I'm supposed to be working, yet all I can think about is the dialogue for my next scene between Dorcas and Emma. I've been having a bit of writer's block this past week!

We both loved last weeks episode, but were blubbing wrecks after that scene. After six years of being denied a child, it really felt close to home - which is a testament to the quality of the script and acting.

(We now have our miracle baby boy, so I hold out hope for the Browns!)

No, you're absolutely right Shuttermaze. I'm sorry--"carrier" was the wrong word I used. What I was thinking in my head was he could have brought the germs with him (on his hanRAB or something) but wouldn't have contracted measles himself due to being immune.

i think we all need to settle down a bit

ok so the dibber thing wasnt good but if we didnt have the writers we wouldnt havelark rise in the first place :D

For me it's not that there's anything amiss with the lighting; it's just very obvious that it's been shot on a rotten day, and everyone's done their bit to make it look warm and sunny.
Sometimes; only sometimes that grade seems a little heavy, but that's just because it is something that I can't help but notice. It's not a complaint; just a comment. :)
(On the whole I love the warm look of the series.)

Didn't she have her hair down for the famous 'you are magnificent' speech:confused:

So far seems to be 1 Series/1 year G20, but not necessarily Jan to Dec. Series 2 started in the winter and went thru to summer (1895). This year seems to have started late summer and will probably go into winter. Series 1 was Spring/Summer or Summer/Autumn I think, can't quite remember:)

Well, I've just put Episode 1 of Series 1 in the player, oh be still my beating heart for Sir Timothy :). Personally I couldn't get enough of this series. I never wanted it to end. I didn't like being left high and dry when it ended. Now where did I put the remote ??

LOL!! Yep, gotta keep it interesting! ;)
I'm actually laughing to myself as I'm thinking about what's going to happen in the next scene--which is going to be pretty cute between D. & T. :D
