Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

Morning All,

It was a tearful nights TV last night, wanted to finish it off with 'Mrs Mandela' but couldn't stay awake........iplayer will save the day:D



I think I read that LRTC had 'bought' the value of the crop of the surrounding fielRAB each year in order to be able to use them as they wish, that would be handy for them and probably less expensive than an organic field.
Wish I could remember a day from last summer that was that golden though, I think they have very clever lighting people on LRTC:D:D

Glad to see this years stories are harping back to the book after an almost total absence last series.
After Daniel the reporter, we now have a recluse befriended by Dorcas, in the book it's Laura who befrienRAB him, but we can allow for artistic licence.:D
And looks like Ruby's off to Yorkshire..........home county of Little Man.......mmmm?:p

If series 3 is set in 1897 could we somehow get them to do another 4 series so it finished in 1901 ad the end of Victorian England? I think this would be a great year to do what with the new century and the death of Queen Victoria, and how it affected small villages like Lark Rise
 
Hi LR, How are you? Have you written any more lately on the story?

Sadly I have not seen anything in papers about LRtC but usually filming begins around June time I think. :) Hopefully we will hear something soon!
 
Yay!! New Lark rise! This is very exciting! I cant believe its been a year tho since the last series, btw, I seen advertised on loose women that JS is on sometime during the week. Does anybody know wen?
 
I used to really enjoy watching Born and Bred. As it happens, ITV3 are running trailers at the mo for it. Reckon it'll be on there soon. I'll enjoy watching that again.

I think sometimes she lets on more than she should! we shouldn't ask her too incase she gets into trouble.

now if we were to ask her to speculate then that might be different!

Blimey! Well if it helps with the Lark Rise budget, I'm happy to stump up another tenner to the expenses. :D
 
i have been in love with this show for the last 3 years
its awesome
i am so jealous that you are studing abroad
i am a program where i can go and study abroad but i am still a freshman so i have to wait :(
 
I have lurked for so long but can restrain myself no longer. This thread, previously so interesting, is in danger of being brought down by descent into bathos. Lark Rise is simply a TV programme. It is not Holy Writ to be analysed and nitpicked to death. It is entertainment and is enjoyed by thousanRAB including me. At the end of the series I shall miss it so much, along with the actors who have become frienRAB and who never fail to touch my heart each week. It is a little gem.
 
We saw her go a little that way towarRAB the end of last series, when she saw Nan with the farmer's son, made assumptions and interfered. But I think she learnt a lesson there, and I don't think we've seen that from her yet this series.
 
i have a question for you angelheart

why did you choose for dorcas to always speak in that tone of voice?
not that there is anything wrong with it (you sound lovely) but it always sounRAB like she is whispering.
is there a reason for it or am i just reading too much into it?
