Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

Just caught up with the Christmas chapter of the story after my Bank Holiday getaway. Such an addictive read. Bring on the Wedding!!! Glad to see you're enrolling new prospective Larkrise addicts.

How's about a group watch of Series 2, Episode 1? He's definitely no Sir Timothy:cry:

I really hope they introduce this lady greyfeather person because she seems to be prominent behind the scenes. This episode was alright, not as good as last week. Dont want to be pesamistic but im not really too excited about next weeks episode, I think the promo maybe said it all.

Yes, episode 7 was quite a heart-wrenching episode when Dorcas finRAB out Lady A. is pregnant. The look on her face was unforgettable--a realization that any fantasy she might have had of him leaving Lady A. and coming back to her was now forever ruined. And after Timothy told Dorcas how hard he tried to be honorable to Adelaide but just couldn't love her the way he should, he was about to say something to Dorcas, "Dorcas, I ...." when Laura interrupted them to tell them about the baby. I was dying to know what he was about to say to Dorcas! And at the end, when the gates close behind him and Lady A. and he looks back at poor Dorcas, who is left on the other side once again, it just about tore my heart out.

Does anyone else think that the emphasis Dorcas keeps putting on the "im happy as i am"/"this is enough for me" speech is leading up to something?

It seems to have been gaining momentum this series, either its going somewhere or the writers are trying to send us a message.

Really enjoyed tonights episode, Laura has got a bit jumped up though, it was evident since series 1she did have an opinion of herself but it really came out tonight. I reli havent much interest in her love life but tonight had me all over the place. one minute i was on team daniel and the next team fisher.
Loved Minnie and Alf. Big awww.:D:D Hope they stay together now.

Oh booooo, hooooo. I just hope that Thomas and Minnie are on cracking form to make up for it.

LOL maybe i'm going mad, if you skip to 1.25. It sounRAB like you can hear someone playing drums.. and then Fisher starts to speak so you cant hear it, and then after he says about using the forge, it sounRAB like modern style music, not period style. :o I'm being so random!

Have read your story........well done and am looking forward to next instalment ..................much better than some of the episodes broadcast !

i think there are a couple of reasons why British shows are shorter. Firstly ofd course it is budgets. secondly, British audiences have different viewing habits. i don't think many of us would stick with a 26 part series as much. even American shows like Heroes start well in the UK but after a few weeks the ratings drop and it becomes less interesting.

I think the "leave you wanting more" rather than "too much of a good thing" attitude is better!

:D:D:D
Fantastic! And this way she has the pickings... JD, ST who may even return, the Inglestone postmaster, or (my choice) the brother. He's not exactly new as he's related to ST and she knew him a long time ago. :D:D

I'm meant to be doing chores but it makes them more interesting fantasizing over LTC!

Thank you so much!! And welcome to the forum! :D

I want to reply to your other post but am at work and haven't time. I'll do so tonight. :)
