Larger veins on right side but not left?

Okay, you know when your veins bulge when more blood goes into them, and your hand goes redder? Well when I'm typing on the computer, my right hand's veins bulge and the hand goes red, like normally, but the left hand stays white and the veins don't change at all. It's really weird, two completely different coloured hands, one with veins bulging, other without them. This doesn't just happen occasionally, they're always like this. When I was born I apparently didn't have enough oxygen get to the left side of my body, so as a baby/ toddler I was almost a hemiplegic (paralysed on one side of the body). I had to have special exercises and stuff like that, which eventually made my left side functional, and I was "extremely lucky". Even now (I'm 14) my left side is significantly weaker, slow and more uncoordinated compared to my right side. I'm right handed and right footed.

But back to my hands, my right having stronger veins and being redder, and my left always being white and veins never bulging out.. does that mean not enough blood is getting to my left side? Could that be another symptom of what happened when I was a child? I'm perfectly fit, and athletic, so its not physically damaging me at all.. but I'm just curious about the 'how and why' its happening. Thanks!
