Large text display cell phone recommendation?

My eyes are going bad. I need a cell phone with the largest text (adjustable??) display (graphical OR text only).

I really only need to have the phone dial and ring, with a datebook function, speakerphone, voice dialing and MAYBE bluetooth.

I'm currently on Nextel using the i730 flip phone but am open to any cellular service that offers large text display cellphones.

Any thoughts?

That's almost OK, 'cept I don't need a phone THAT dumbed down!

I don't need big buttons since I easily memorize the keypad configuration and can dial without looking. It's the display I'm interested in.

They didn't showcase the display to my satisfaction (to be fair, most manufacturers don't either), which is more important.

Andy - My eyes are not what they used to be as well. Did you ever find a suitable phone? Some phones do have large letters on the internal screen, but on a flip the outside incoming numbers are too tiny to identify caller. So much for having caller ID.

I haven't done a lot of looking at all the cell phones around. It's been rather overwhelming as you no doubt already know!

One feature that will be a must for me is the photo-caller ID feature that shows the incoming caller's picture you associated with stored phone numbers. I don't know if this can work the other way round, scroll through faces and then dial out, which would nice but voice activated dialing does a good job for hands/eyes free dialing.

I guess I just need bifocals to navigate the menu system settings.

Voice mail wins out over email for my next cell phone. I'm a "please leave a message after the beep" man.

I don't need web/email/pda/music features. I like being social when I'm not eating and drinking OR in front of a real 'puter.

Maybe a camera/camcorder feature would be useful once in awhile.

I am interested in bluetooth so I can have a wireless earphone to hear and speak through.

That probably leaves only a few hundred cell phones to choose from!
