Hi,

I always had slightly large pores on my nose, a few months ago I got many blackheaRAB on my nose. They completely dried up, and "popped out", but it looks like they either scarred (I guess pinhole type things) or just really stretched my pores so that they are pretty visible. Its been many months and the pores are still "open" and there. How do I reduce these?? I am actually quite consious about this now! I feel like I can see those pores from a mile away!! Help!!!

you could try icing your face before you go to sleep...maybe that will shrink em? just a thought.

did anyone get blackheaRAB followed by enlarged pores while on accutane?

Thats whats happening to me right now, the blackheaRAB are all pretty much gone (it looks like it anyway) and now i just have visibly open pores all around my nose and a few others on my cheeks...will this go away sometime soon? School is in a week i wanna come back looking fairly good!!

try mint julep mask it works well at making the pores appear smaller, at least for me. good luck!

I used the Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream and also the exfoliating stuff and both made me break out in tons of little tiny pimples!!!!

Yeah the same happened to me too. I squeezed my blackheaRAB out. Now i have very visible pores. And the blackheaRAB keeps on coming back.

25!! Oh My God!! Wait until your 41, with gray hair, wrinkles, and you STILL have acne!

I called the asthetician at my derm's office about this and she said there was no way to actually shrink enlarged pores, but you can only make them look smaller by certain products. This was pretty disappointing to me. Hopefully its untrue. I wonder if chemical peels and microdermabrasions can shrink them. Anyways, to reduce the appearance of them, she recommended Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream. I am not good with creams so I picked up the Pore Refining Cleanser since I was looking for a new cleanser anyways. Man, this sux. I have had an acne problem since I was like 15 and now I am 25. I shouldn't have to worry about this now!!!! Argh!

The new Biore facial line is focused on reducing the appearance of pores. I've been using it for about a week now and while I don't know that it is reducing my pores just yet, it has already pretty much cleared my skin up completely(with the exception of a few).

shes right in what she has told you... pores are not like doors, they do not open and close.. i hear so many people saying the same thing day after day... some people have larger pores than others... yes you can make them APPEAR smaller.. but finding the right cleansing routine is a must... i wouldnt stress about it .. as long as you look after your skin and its clear.... larger pores do seem to get blocked more... so like i said find a good cleansing routine,,, and it dosnt have to cost the earth,,,,, hope that helps.... beauty therapist of 15yrs xxxx
