I work from home & have used a 17" Acer laptop (Vista Home OS) for years until it died last week. I don't work at a desk - I use either my sofa or recliner & now I need to decide whether to buy another laptop or get a PC with wireless n and HDMI output to hook up to Emerson LC320EMXF tv and wireless keyboard with touchpad/trackball. I need help as my computer innards knowledge is pretty much zilch. I access my office server through remote desktop and use primarily Word and Adobe - I have to review quite large .pdf docs. I also make occasional videos and watch youtube, but no gaming at all. Please help me to determine my needs and which computer (laptop or pc) would best suit and least strain the budget. Thanks!
