problem? It is NOT the card - I tried five different ones, and yes, I checked the lock sliders.
My Dell laptop has a built-in SD card reader.
At one point, it did work (that COULD have been before my motherboard was replaced - I don't remember if I had used it since then till now.
I open a folder to view the contents of the card, I try to delete contents or add contents - and it tells me that it's write protected. (Formatting using my comp > SD card > right click > format, also says write protected).
I tried a few of the silly suggestions I found online such as putting the slider in the middle and whatever.
My SD cards do work in my Linux partition - so it's a Windows problem.
