Laptop Screen changes color - becomes bolder - scary!! WHY? :-o?

I have an HP INSPIRON 1545 Laptop, it's pretty new- just around 2 months. A while ago, the colors on the screen changed- pink became a burning pink, red, white, yellow, etc... I thought it was my eyes (haha) but it was the screen itself. I tried changing the position of the laptop, nothing happened. It returned to normal in 5 minutes.

Problem is - this is happening more than a few times in a week.

Does someone know what the problem is?
