FIRST OFF, let me say that the noise is coming from the CPU area. The noise is NOT coming from the HDD.
I been experiencing with my laptop cpu whining for the past month. When the laptop is plugged in, the whine is very faint and i would have to either pay attention to the noise or put my ear right next to the cpu area to hear it. But whenever i unplug my ac adapter to use the battery power, the whine becomes even louder. Its not that loud but is a definite annoyance when you are trying to do an assignment while hearing the high pitch cpu whine. My laptop is new, i bought it last month and been using it with problem free other than the whine...
Anyone know if i should send this for repair or is it normal for all the laptops in the market?
