Language translator

Does anyone have a recommendation for a spanish-english translator for my T/T. I need it mostly for medical interviews. I noticed that Palm has an expansion card speaking translator but don't know if it's any good. Also, there are a few things on Palmgear, but I don't know how they compare.
Thanks

ESPearls,

I have Palm's Language Translator SD card. Although it translates between English, Spanish, German, Italian, and French and enunciates the words through the Palm's speaker, I do not think the database is very rich in medical terminology.

There are several Spanish-English dictionaries available for trial located in the Software section of this web site. Near the top of the www.palmblvd.com home page, click on "FREE Downloads." Under the large font "Software" title, there is a teal/green bar reading "Palm Blvd Software Search Software" with "Search Software" underlined. Click that and on the following page, type "Spanish" and "English" in the "Keyword(s):" text box, and click the "Search" button. See if any of the search results seem to meet your needs and you can download the program to try for suitability, ease of use, etc. Good luck!

I use Handmark, MobileDB English-Spanish Medical Phrases v4.1.4 and a very similar one that I have stored in Word to Go. It is Medical Spanish compiled by Kent E. Willard,MD http//pbrainhypermart.net. There are subtle differences between the two, but either would suffice. I already had MobileDB (mobile data base) so there was no additional cost to add the Med.Spanish otherwise you would have to buy the MobileDB program and add the Med.Spanish. They had lots of other free databases to choose from. If you have D2Go already, just add the above by Dr.Willard. Hope this helps
