I moved into a house a little over 6 months ago. It was a brand new house and the interior wasn't painted, it was just primered. Apparently all the houses were like this. We hung up some pictures etc, and when we gave notice that we were moving, I went through and puttied all of the holes. When we got our "deposit" back or lack there of. He is charging us with $185.00 to paint the house, now that they can see the putty holes. Is this right? I didn't get the privileage of having the house painted, but now because I've moved out, and puttied the little holes (like I was supposed to) I get charged to have it painted. It just doesn't seem right to me, and I am fixin' to go to the landlord, but was hoping to get some feedback from someone who knows about this stuff.
