I posted a while back concerning anxiety. My new psychiatrist put me on LEXAPRO along with Lamictal that I was already taking.
I went to * link to commercial website and related info removed by rabroad-mod, moderator * to find out about LEXAPRO.
Is anyone else on this corabination? If so, how is it working for you? Two things:
1) I know everyone is different. From the many reviews I read on Drugs, I clearly could see reactions are varied; and
B) I wouldn't opt against taking it without calling my psychiatrist, first.
I just want to know how the corabination seems to work for others. I've read horror stories about people who started taking LEXAPRO and couldn't wean off due to drastic physical effects. I don't want to go through that. I went through it when my doctor retired during Thanksgiving and I ran out of Lamictal. NOT a good feeling!! I want to avoid that, if possible. So, I'd rather not start it than begin it and feel withdrawl symptoms if I stopped it.
IDEALLY, I'd like to hear from others who have been on Lamictal for a while and THEN was placed on LEXAPRO. But I know the odRAB of that...
