How many other teams have gone decades and decades without a championship.
Barring a complete collapse, this marks their 15th championship as a franchise. They have won three times as many championships as seasons they've missed the playoffs. No other team even comes close to the nearly continuous success the Lakers have had.

Problem with the redwings is they were horrible for more than 2 straight decades.
