This typically ken russell film was particulary memorable for the catchy ditty about the lampton worm........and amanda donahoe wearing a strap-on :rolleyes:

It's available to buy on r1 dvd. If you hav'nt seen it do yourselves a favour and get it. It's really very good :D
 
As well as the strap-on, Amanda Donahoe also drives a wicked car in this movie!

It is a lot of fun - I bought it on vhs years ago but havent seen it in ages.

...actually, i do quite like his movies,a lot of people hate them

'The Devils' comes to mind here as well as 'Gothic'......i'll proably buy both eventually

Correct me if Im wrong but do I remember Hugh Grant being in this film?? Im near sure it was him but I must admit it has been years since I saw it last!!

From what I remember of this film, I thought that it was hilarious but quite gruesome. :eek: :)

Blimey - I had forgotten all about Gothic! I used to have that on VHS too.

Ken Russell is quite a character! Didn't he do The Boyfriend movie as well? I seem to recall it featuring a tap-dancing Barbara WinRABor. :eek:

Sorry - off topic. I'm going to rewatch LotWW later this week. Hugh Grant was actually quite good in it as I remember.

Watched it last friday on dvd. Forgot what a great little movie it is.........and i just looove that song about the worm....really catchy :)

....and amanda donahoe is simply delicious! :D
