Ladies; what is the difference between a man being whiny and expressing his feelings? Discuss with examples.

Please give an example of a man expressing his feelings and how he does it. And a man being whiny.

And what is the definition of being whiny VERSUS expressing one's feelings?
Is it a fine line or not?
Do men get it harder compared to women?
 
Expressing feelings= being able to admit when you feel upset, scared, sad ect. Like if you were to ask him if he is sad, he should be able to tell you. Whiny is when he brings up bad feelings out of nowhere and those bad feelings are from something pointless. It shouldn't be too complicated.
