Lactose Intolerance?

Before I go to my doctor to get this checked out, I need to know if it's possible.

I've always been a big milk drinker (love the stuff) but about a year ago I started getting a really irritated stomach/intestines when I drank milk before noon. I had bad gas, something that felt similar to heartburn but didn't hurt as much, and a really queasy, uneven stomach. It only happened in the morning.

NOW, it's starting to happen at dinner times too. Same symptoms, milk is the only commonality that I can find. Lunch times are still completely free of these issues though. It's just Breakfast, and now dinner.

SO my questions are

1) Can someone develop lactose intolerance after 20 years of being a milk drinker?
2) Can I be intolerant only at certain points in the day?
3) Will I eventually be completely lactose intolerant?
4) If this isn't an intolerance W. T. H. is it??

It's possible to develop lactose intolerance at any age. People have different degrees of lactose intolerance--some can only consume trace amounts of dairy, others can have one cup a day but not two.

Try not having dairy for a few days and see what happens.

Oh, one more thing: My husband is lactose intolerant, and he finRAB that his symptoms are more severe if he has a full stomach. He can eat ice cream by itself, but not after dinner. So, yes, it can vary by time of day.

not sure about the time of day thing.
could also be an allergic reaction, not intolerence?

If it's on an empty stomach in the morning, I would think maybe the acidity of the stomach is the issue - post nasal drip, etc. Do you have any sinus issues?

As far as the time of day, mine is worse if I eat/drink dairy on an empty stomach. For example I can tolerate a small amount of ice cream after dinner, but if I were to eat it in the afternoon without eating lunch, it would make me sick

1.Try eliminating dairy for a few days.
2. Also you can try Dr. Coca's Pulse Test (google for the free manual).
3. You can use the Pendulum dowsing (google for this testing method) takes a little practice to get it right initially.
4. Usually the things one likes and consumes most are the most damaging.
5. Black and white cow's (A2 type) milk is tolerated better usually.
