Durring these teenage times, im finding that no one around me is really happy. Each one of my friends seem to have a serious probelm of some sort. One has an eating disorder and refuses help, anothwr doesnt show up for class and won't tell us why, another is taking stress pills due to an over load of work and such and blacked out the other day from taking one two many and then theres the friend who isn't sure of hat they are..yeah enough about that, that subjet is really steange and involved. My point is no matte what i try to do i can't seem to keep anyone happy, try as i might to help nothign seems to work.

well, I shouldn' say ANYONE. I suppose that was a bit off. There is one person that i seem to make happy. *Prepare for sappyness* Not to seem conceded but I do make my boyfriend happy, just like he makes me happy.:) But even thoguh that section of my life is next to perfect, it's my friends that worry me and get me down, I just want them all to be happy, just like me.

Just become emo of goth; you'll fit in perfectly.

Or, realize that it's not your job to keep everyone around you happy. Everyone has their problems, but most teenagers don't know how to deal with them. That's just life, get use to it.

The only person that can make them happy...is well.. themselves, you can only provide support and a shoulder to cry on. Try not to let it get you down, we have all have friends like that. And dont try to keep anyone "happy" it is a futile quest, you will fail. Just be a good friend, thats all anyone needs.:D

Look on the bright side: at least you realize the people around you are unhappy. A lot of people are under the impression they're the only sad one and everyone else is living in paradise(and unfortunately I start thinking that way too). For every problem you have, the people around you most likely have an equal amount of problems. I wouldn't worry about it, just poke yourself and the people around you constantly(in a figurative sense). It'll keep the laughter going strong and the memories running long.

just leave it. .its there problem and when they figure out how to slove it they will. . . .my friend never talks shes always thinking about her life because her moms an drugatic her dads in jail and she lives with her sister that is never home to take care of her she says things like "im hated" "can i die now" and she cuts herself everyday her sister leaves her and i tell her no but when i
come over she doesnt all she said she wants is love and great friends like ME and i make her happy sometimes but i can feel she is trying to think of a way to get rid of her problem.    which she says theres more to her story and im thinking how can she solve it if she doesnt know the rest of the story

Well it's nice you care about others happiness ladeedah, so kudos to you. However, you can't make people happy. They can become happy if they choose it, but you're right, teenage years are the melodrama years. Everything is so big when you're there, and later in life, you see how small it really was. So keep yourself happy first, then if you try to help your friends get happy, and they wont, FUCK IT. Find new friends, because most of the "friends" you know right now, you wont even remember most of their names in 10 years. REALLY.
