Same here on the wet coast. We have 2 dealers near by and both charge same rate but one charges for the time used and the other by the book. Guess which one i frequent??

They don't make it yet. and wow, you'd have to be nuts to buy a lexus for 120k.
Looks like toyota is trying to compete with the 760il now

I'm an aircraft mechanic, our labor rate is 65 dollars /hour for puddle jumpers up to 75/hour for corporate jets (Lears, Citations, etc.), and 80/hour for NDT services, (non-destructive testing). Price range for these aircraft are from $125,000 to 15 million. Something is definitely wrong here!!

I was qouted 4 hours of labor to install a dry slipper clutch on my 848 and it took the dealer 3 hours. On my work order it states 4 hours of work. My question is...does the dealer need to discount the work?

What if it had gone bad and taken 6 hours, should they have charged you for the extra hours? It works both ways, that's why a standard (labor guide) is used. If any professional including attorneys, doctors or plumbers get better at their jobs and execute the same job faster and faster, should they charge less? Where would be the incentive to improve and work harder?
