''La Vie En Rose''- Movie of Edith Piaf's life- Any good?

I really like Edith's work and want to know more about her so when I saw this film that had been made I am intrigued to get it. However, is it actually in French or is it just with a French accent?

I know that seems a bit silly but sometimes I get tired of reading subtitles

Either way I will probably end up getting it

The only reason to see it is for MC's portrayl of the singer, she is amazing as Piaf. The rest of the film is pretty messy.

It's in French, so you will have to do the ever so hard thing of reading subtitles...

there is one particular scene that was all done in one take and it is amazing.

i won't spoil it for you but please give it a chance as it is a fantastic movie

qute a good film but I found it a bit strange having the well known songs translated into English via the subtitles.......otherwise quite enjoyable.
