Apologies if there is already a thread but just seen this film and it's excellent. I wasn't (and still not) a fan of her music but her life story is fascinating.
If you get a chance to see it go along - fantastic acting thoughout (even M Depardieu!) and beautifully filmed 10/10
 
I agree completely. Was lucky to see it on a very large screen with great sound system some months back. Much better on a big screen than on a dvd.

I've been a fan of her music so I went in knowing about her and her music. I was not dissapointed in this film.
 
Saw it on a plane coming back from the states - and even in those conditions I felt it was really good film. Who was the actress who played Piaf - she really was brilliant - convincing as a young girl and as a lady on her death bed. She deserved an oscar!
