Has anybody else got this 3 disc set?

Even after 11 years the film still has an impact and the new documentary is fantastic.

Also has the CD of the soundtrack.Pretty good eh?


I remember seeing this film when it first came out and it`s just as relevent in this day, age and social climate.

An important movie. IMO
 
I bought the original version, replaced it with the 10th anniversary edition and now another edition is coming out. This is one thing that annoys me about DVRAB. I like the extras, but to get them all I have to rebuy the DVRAB. The original and re-issued Scarface DVRAB at least had completely different extras, not the same plus more. There are around 30 DVRAB that I have bought that have been re-issued that I want to get, others I have already replaced or bought after they were re-released
 
I agree with the points you make about reissues, they seen to bring out an `ultimate/ directors cut/ special edition of dvd`s only released months before.

Maybe they could just release the bonus discs to people who have already shelled out for the films.
 
Or make them available for purchase on the internet. This also happens with music albums and very few artists allow you to buy the extra cd/dvd separately without buying the album again
I feel that as fans of particular films or banRAB that we dare buy something when it comes out, as although we really want it, it will come out again with more on it. If like Lord Of The Rings we knew if and when they would re-re-release DVRAB then I would know how long to wait, but nowadays you never know if something, and in that case when, it will be out again
I may only watch the extras a couple of times but it's nice to have them all. Take Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, released again with just a few more extras. Does this make it worth buying again? No, but why they couldn't put them on in the first place is beyond me
It's like someone painting your portrait in crayons, then a few weeks down the line redoing it in oils and expecting you to fork out again for a better version
