La Boheme (the movie)

Just me then :o

First thing to say is that you don't have to be a huge fan of opera to enjoy this film... My wife certainly isn't but she still enjoyed it and was moved to tears in the final scene.

For a start La Boheme itself is an opera pretty much anyone who simply appreciates 'nice music' can sit through. Couple this with some artistic filming and some rather amusing English subtitles and you have a very watchable film.

ANNA NETREBKO as Mimi and ROLANDO VILLAZON as Rodolfo were absolutely excellent and well supported by GEORGE VON BERGEN as Marcello and NICOLE CABELL as Musetta.

Indeed NICOLE CABELL's larger than life portrayal of Musetta contributed well to the films lighter moments....
