L7

I wouldn't use retarded but maybe challenged, they need alittle style but hey if there happy that way leave them alone.........Or pick on em

I have no idea...kinda faded away after the whole grunge rock phenomenon died down.

After the 90's ended I only noticed their songs on movie soundtracks.
According, to wikipedia they are on a indefinite hiatus hiatus since 2001...

Finch left the band after the third album, Hungry for Stink, which was released in the summer of 1994 while they were on the Lollapalooza tour. Sparks and Greta Brinkman played bass on The Beauty Process: Triple Platinum, after which Gail Greenwood became the bassist. The band's most recent album Slap-Happy, was released in 1999, and did not chart on either side of the Atlantic ocean. Greenwood then left and was replaced by Janis Tanaka. By 2001 the band was no longer touring. According to the band's website, "L7 are on an indefinite hiatus. We know that's vague, but that's just the way it is. The future of the band is a bit up in the air at the moment." Donita Sparks is currently pursuing her own solo career (see donitasparks. com, along with drummer Dee Plakas and two other guitarists, so L7 appears to be defunct for all practical purposes.

The band made an appearance in the 1994 John Waters film Serial Mom under the name "Camel Lips", a reference to the visual imprint of a woman's vulva in the crotch of too-tight jeans. The song "****list" appears on the soundtracks of the films Natural Born Killers & Pet Sematary II and "Pretend We're Dead" appears on the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack.

It's a shame they sould reunite for one or two more albums. I heard them on a couple of soundtracks to and I believe one of their songs was in a movie I don't know if that's true but I think I heard one on Hype!

L7 are pretty hot.

Drama is a good one along with all the classics ya hear about.

Is there much of a low grungy scene still around seattle...? PLease let there be. I'm Keen!

I live up on Capitol Hill but get around to each neighborhood fairly often.

The homeless and crackheaRAB dowtown and  up on Capitol Hill and the Central District...geeks and nerRAB everywhere...lots more of the geeks than any other type. College kiRAB, indie rockers and microsoft programmers. Not the blue collar grunge days of Kurt Cobain and before.
