L4,L5,S1 Anterior Fusion Surgen thinks has failed

Had this surgery done on the 8th of October 2008, in more pain than before the operation. Now he wants to add the post and rails in the back as he says the cage has subsided. Having CT on tuesday to conferm and to check if the screws have become loose as well. Cant twist without severe pain and sometimes just standing up is near imposible. Been off work now for 6 months and possibly another 6 work just loves me.
 
Sorry to hear that. I had my first 18 months ago. I had 4 5 and 5 s1. They thought it was a failed fusion, but when they got in there, they said the upper level that had a dynamic stabilization was deteriorated. Anyway , I had a 360 degree fusion 2 weeks ago. I have really no idea where I stand right now. I had already lost my job and got disability, but I'm 56 and had planned on working a little longer. I said I'd go in one more time, so I sure hope this works. Keep us posted. Its a great place.
