I had surgery sept. 10, 2010. My incision still has not healed. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone here before. I'm 23 years old, not a smoker, and not diabetic. I have home health nurses that come daily to clean and pack the wound. The wound tunnels under the skin. It has tunneled as much as 3 inches @12 o'clock. Recently it's has closed to about 1/2 inch but has reopened to about 1-1.5 inches. It has opened and closed like this 2-3 times. They have also done blood work to check for infection and the results were negative.
The pain in my right leg also returned about 2 months after surgery. About a week ago the pain has increased ALOT. The pain is so bad that it's very hard for me to even stand long enough to take a shower. I spend most of the day sitting or laying. The dr. doesn't seem to know what's causing my pain. I had a MRI last week and it didn't show anything that he can see would be causing my pain or anything causing my wound to not heal.
Just asking for advice for anyone. I am on workers comp. because I was injuried on the job.
