L*******l named England's most musical city

And what's anal about mentioning my favourite Liverpool band in a thread about Liverpool music?

All I did was state they were an omission on your list , which they were. You can take that however you wish. If you want to get overly defensive about it then by all means do.

Let's not forget Atomic Kitten.

Seriously though...take a good look at Civic Defecater's list;

^ This is the best England has to offer????

Only 3 or 4 banRAB stand out.

Mick Hucknall was there too and went on to form The Frantic Elevators, before selling out to form Simply Red.
An act that Tony Wilson never forgave him for.

Of course he was right, but then again, every Mancunian at the gig would have thought the same thing...it goes with the territory. ;)

I think how much that gig influenced Morrissey has been way overstated and exaggerated. He was already president of the New York Dolls fanclub and had a big interest in punk rock. I think as a singer all it really did was give him a few backing banRAB (The NosebleeRAB, Slaughter & The Dogs) until Marr came along.
