i have had the same problem with my phone, and i found out that the mini usb port (the slot where you plug in your charger cord) turned out to be broken to where i had to charge my phone at certain angles, wake up and find my phone not charging and alot of other crazy stuff. there is no way to fix this so what i did is called the Virgin Mobile phone number and they sent me a replacement phone free and i never had the problem again. that is what you should do, trust me i went through the same thing.
