kyocera presto phone mute?

okay, i got the kyocera presto phone with metro on monday and it worked perfectly. now whenever anyone tries to call me or i try to call them, they cant hear me. and when i tried to record a voice memo or something no sound recorded. is there a mute button im pressing or some easy way to fix this? please help me!! no insurance on my phone :/
