KX5 Ribbon

[I ♥ TWILIGHT MOVIE!]

My slider remix has had the ear piece go out twice. The repair shop wants to much money to replace the ribbon, or flex cable, or what ever its called! Then they also put the screws back in it to tight and broke the housing. Any ideas where i can find the ribbon and housing and fix it my self? Can any one repply?????

ebay? they are cheap phones so i would just get another one cheap from ebay. I just gave away my slider yesterday to my dad since he was so exstatic about it lol.

FYI in my experience replacing the ribbon usually does not fix the problems. my theory is that the circuits are shorting and causing permenant damage to the phone.
