WWE creative team discussed signing Kurt Angle in 2007 and the idea received mixed reactions. The idea was pitched to Vince McMahon and he shot it down immediately, saying that Angle was not a channel changer and his prescription pill issues. One WWE source said months ago the company would be interested in using Angle on a limited schedule similar to Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. As of now, WWE has no interest, as the main concern is if he could adapt to the Wellness Policy.

Kurt has said he does't want to work with McMahon again. And he has a big role in TNA, right now with the Main Event Mafia. However there are rumors he doesn't want to work with Jeff Jarrett anymore, either. So with all the rumors, until I see it, I am going to take it as just rumor.
