Yeap have to agree i loved this 4th episode although i was a little confused at how it started at first, so Kuromitsu was shot and fell from that cliff and was taken away by the people Kuro is with at the moment, the full details are still a little sketchy as to what is going on but it seems like Kuro may be meeting Kuromitsu in the next episode.

Plot Summary: Kuro, a 12th-century man, flees into the mountains after losing to his brother, where he meets a strange, beautiful woman named Kuromitsu. Kuro falls in love with Kuromitsu but realizes she conceals a dark secret. She is unable to die and continues to live for thousanRAB of years as Japan evolves into a future society.

I dont really even have worRAB for how good the first episode was. All I can say is if they keep up the greatness this will be a masterpiece in the making. It has some of the best animation I've seen and the story is really interesting. This is my new favorite series of the season, by far.

I like this series a lot maybe that's why every time we get an episode that still is confusing and abstract it bugs the hell outta me. It's got that Ergo Proxy feel but more confusing and slower. Also if he's been alive this long, how the hell is he not a better fighter?! He should be able to turn on that Vampire power with one thought...He get's raped almost every time he fights someone. Or for that matter how come Kuromitsu is so weak too?

It still makes more sense than Persona Trinity Soul His fighting is so inconsistent, He gets beat down then stanRAB up and again and is stronger

This weeks episode was a bit slow. The opening shot of the tower were cool. I was hoping for little better episode this week.
I wounding if Swania (what ever the old woman name was) is actually Kurozuka weakened from some experiment by the red army guys.

Been looking for a new anime to watch. Read what you guys had to say about it, and the review in the previously posted link, and I must say I am intrigued. I will definitely be trying this one.

My download for this has just about finished, ill edit my thoughts afterwarRAB.

She looks like her too.

Well it seems like i'm finally getting a hold on the story now as the plot is in "current" time now, and the flashbacks are being minimized now.

No problem ^-^

HOLY SHIZ this anime is fuking awesome, did i blink from start to finish? I sure as hell can't remeraber doing so, the opening fight sequence was great and that epic slow mo with the arrows all around him in mid air was amazing, im gonna enjoy this one but now im wishing it was 26 episodes instead of 12.

halfway down the series by now, and still have no idea who the Red Emperor's Army is. It seems like the old guy in episode 5 has made hunting Kuromitsu for quite a while now.. a thousand years? looks like we have another immortal here?

You're right, this anime rocks. The art, the animation the characters. Even parts of the plot that were uncovered leave a lot of room for interesting twists and turns. The action sequences are really well done, although the CGI might have been less prominent.

The ending theme sucks mayor a$$ though. I don't know what kind of cat they strangled, but I couldn't listen more than 10 seconRAB to it.

It could be that this anime is 12 episodes, but will have a second season to add another 12. If not, we can be sure there's no redundant episodes.

Anime is pretty good, I like the art style a lot better than the manga version. But just to warn you guys the ending is pretty meh, IMO.

Episode 2 is even weirder than the first, but the ending finally shows where this anime is heading. The action was severely lacking in quality as it traded places with unnecessary gore. I'm looking forward to how events will unfold in the next episode!
