Kurokami Talkback

Bandai Entertainment has just posted Kurokami on Youtube.

I've burnt through the first 10 or so episodes now (and woke up on the last episode >.>) and I have to say, its a neat little series so far.

I think it's going to take a rewatch to figure out how much I like it.

Here's the basic summary: (You learn all of the below in the first two episodes)

In the world, everyone has two doppeliners. They are like doppelgangers except each doppeliner has their destiny split amongst the other two doppeliners.

When one doppeliner dies, the destiny of that doppeliner is split between the remaining ones.

If doppeliners meet each other face to face, the one with the least claim in their shared destiny is destroyed to balance out the force that exists when the two meet.

In the miRABts of all of this, Terra Guardians exist in the world to ensure the balance of this system.

An unknown faction has found a way to irabalance the system and its up to the Terra Guardians to find out who or what before choas ensues from the irabalance.

I've completed watching all 19 videos posted (this isn't the complete series) on Youtube.

The series has some very interesting aspects about it. It defiantly has a dark, gloomy, apocalyptic feel to it.

I can't help thinking that this series almost comes off as a "grown up" version of Pokemon.

Terra Guardians seem to either act as subordinate or master depending who they are partnered with (more often then not the former).

I'm still undecided weather I think the series is really good or mediocre. It could go either way.

It's certainly worth a watch and has no doubt filled my block of weekly episodes to watch.

The thread looked it was covering the fact it was coming to Youtube, not the actual content of the anime >.>

If the other thread is intended for that, then feel free to have a mod lock this one out.
