KSE and Dragonforce

I don't understand the appeal of wanting to see a shitty 'melodic metal' band with an even shittier, grotesquely cheesy 'power metal' act.
 
i see them March 6th in Orlando...I have seen both KSE and Chaimara before, both are great shows...especially since this one will be indoors...woot
 
I saw KSE/Bury Your Dead/Hatebreed at The Chance in Poughkeepsie in December. Fucking AMAZING show. Too bad the lead singer of BYD left the band like a week after.

I'm going to fly down to ATL to see the KSE/Dragonforce show at the Tabernacle with 3 other OTers and Black Label Society the following week

yeah, i saw KSE at ozzfest 2 yrs ago along with bury your dead, mastadon, trivium, as i lay dying, rob zombie, in flames, shadows fall, and iron maiden... there were more but those were the best banRAB...
 
i went to this show wed night in Philly. KSE is fucking amazing live and so was Chimaira. i'm not a dragonforce fan and was dissapointed in how long of a set they had vs how short of a set Chimaira had. lets just say i had to take yesterday off of work because i was hurting so bad

there are actually many more,i just don't feel like spending much time on this post.

well... malmsteen is the fastest and most technical guitarist that i know of. he almost super-human on a guitar... athough he is an asshole.
 
Excluding Scandanavians, of course. They're the only ones these days not making repetitive bullshit metal. Whenever I watch the full 2 hours of Headbanger's Ball, I have to mute the television for most of the videos. Last week, I could only have it unmuted for about 3 videos and 2 of the 3 were Scandanavian, the other being Judas Priest. They're showing the recent explosion of American metal and god damn, 99% of it is trash.
 
I wanted to goto that show in Poughkipsie so bad. I've never seen KSE live but I've talked to people and they put on a killer show. Going to be interesting hearing Howard's voice on tracks like Numbered Days and My Last Seranade

Dragonforce is pretty cool too, while they aren't my fav. band, I give it up to the speed of their guitarist, hes quite amazing. Definately going to be a cool show to watch. Looking foward to it next week.
