KRZR or V3xx?? which to get?

I'm looking at these 2 phones right now and not sure which to get. The most important feature for me is voice command. The more I can do with the phone without having to push buttons/look at the screen the better. Any advice?

v3xx would be my choice, although the Razr MAXX is 10 times better than this phone...

i cant stand the krzrs form factor, it just looks ugly to me.

He's talking about the V3xx, not the V3x. The V3xx has got the KRZR on most of the features. There are several things to consider though. Are you going to actually make use of the HSPDA? Or do you want a better camera. I prefer the KRZR's size, but the HSPDA and QVGA screen make a big difference. The downside is that it looks like every other RAZR our there.

no, I likey won't make use of the HSPDA. Right now I'm leaning towards the KRZR- correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it has a better voice recognition- can do more (?)
Also, the V3xx unfortunately looks just like all the other razrs. Right now, everybody and their mother has one.

I see a lot of complaints about the UI on razrs. Is the krazrs and V3xx diferent? So far I'm not getting a lot of help or opinions here.

I had the same dilemma and today I made my decision. I went for the V3xx, mainly because of the price. The things I was most concerned about, both phones have - MP3 player, microSD, A2DP, nice screen and an OK camera (quality is roughly on par with my Nokia 6682). When I went into the Cingular store, the KRZR was $200 with contract and rebate while the V3xx was $80 also on contract and with rebate. I also didn't like the color and finish of the KRZR all that much, but that's more of a personal preference.

I was waiting for the Nokia N75 but it won't be out for another few weeks and the pricing is likely to be much higher than this is.

I too am wrestling between these two phones after giving up on the phantom called "N75". I've been going back and forth for two weeks now and am leaning toward the KRZR right now, but am worried/intrigued about the voice quality difference with 3G. Living near Seattle and according to the map, 3G has widespread coverage in my area so that seems to be a non-issue. The fact is though, I won't use either phone for web browsing just for voice and text messages. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The V3xx has better reception than the KRZR. The V3xx has a 2.2" QVGA screen vs. the 2" non-QVGA screen for the KRZR.
The V3xx has went even further than the KRZR with the UI improvements.
The V3xx has 3G and 3.5G..

The KRZR is smaller and has stereo speakers.

To me, personally, the clear winner is the V3xx.

I beg to differ.. while the KRZR may be more stylish... it is DEFINATELY less advanced than the V3xx.

The V3xx is a Maxx in a different shell. External music controls, QVGA 2.2" screen, 3 and 3.5G (UMTS/HSDPA) and updated UI. It TOTALLY blows the KRZR out of the water.

i guess it is minus bettr external screen and camera, but i jus wouldnt get it since its a v3, evrymum dad aunty whoever...just evry1 has that phone!! the krzr looks alot nicer.
furthermore why wouldnt ppl just get the v6 maxx then??? its the same price349.99!!
plus it looks bettr

I paid 129.99 for the V3xx.

Also as of yet, the Maxx lacks a few necessary things. It lacks the 850 GSM band for North America and the 850/1900 WCDMA bands for North American 3G.

baldi, thats an AMAZING price you got your v3xx for...yeh i guess the v6 maxx is lacking for quad band etc, and so are alot of of moto phones!!

but anyways, since we are talking about motorola phones, what do you think about the rokr e6?? im thinking of getting that as opposed to SE's m600i

I think they are working on it. But what a hassle. But until it is stable why would the masses want to spend all that money for the Maxx, then take a chance on bricking it ?

I am pretty sure they will eventually release and unlocked Quad Band Maxx anyway... could be worth the wait (as far as price goes.)
