KoRn or Disturbed?

I believe they are totally different. Korn has that distinct heavy bass sound that I love so much and Disturbed is more of a rough rockin' band. I think Disturbed has been more consistent as far as quality over the years. Korn's last album sucked IMHO. Hopefully Korn III will be much better. Cannot wait for Asylum from Disturbed though.

i haven't listened to either in a really long time.. i like korn's old stuff a lot.. but really i never listened to disturbed too much. so... i can't judge fairly either. :p:

Your above comment shows intellect that carries weight, I guess your intangible asset to rab consists of human knowledge and ideas that are prominent to the forums.

I detest Korn's sound with a vengeance. That bass sound that supposedly set them apart seemed like a calculated way to try to make them sound different to other metal banRAB but it just sounRAB so unorganic and false.

I would actually prefer to listen to the first Linkin Park album than a Korn track.

Disturbed are so unoriginal it's untrue BUT they are just another band peddling a sound that sold and at least admitted to that. Voices and Down With The Sickness are acceptable tracks on a drunken Saturday night although they have been even worse since their debut album.

i Think Korn's CD Follow The Leader, was one of the best CD's i've ever heard just because it was constant and every song to me was awesome but their first 3 CD's were the only one's i really liked. so back then, DEFINITELY KORN, but now, I'd have to say disturbed.

I think KoRn was a better band when they were starting out.. new KoRn is so unbelievably horrible I cant stand to watch their videos or listen to their music.

I havent heard alot of Disturbed, but what I have heard its a helluva lot better than KoRn, even though its not my favorite

Disturbed...just cuz Prayer is such ana amzing song...but i will admit that korn has more songs in general that i like...just none that i love

The whole package of Davis's vocals, hip-hop inspired guitar riRAB that sound like sirens/turntables/dissonance, and loose bass string slap lines? Come on...

It wasn't that unique a sound at the time really. I do agree that "Shoots and Ladders" is probably the best song on the album. Though I also think it's a testament to how skippable most of the tracks on that album are that I can't remeraber what "Ball Tongue" sounRAB like despite the fact that I've owned the album for 15 years.
