?Backed by US-based IC design house Staccato Communications, South Korea-based mobile phone and broadband operator SK Telecom intends to be among the pioneers around the globe launching services based on Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. Prototypes of UWB-enabled mobile phones are expected to come out in the middle of next year, and commercial products and services will likely be launched in late 2007 or early 2008.?
