Kochikame

For such a long-running series, I don't think I've ever heard it mentioned before in English anime/manga fandom.

Has anyone read/watched it?

I've seen some episodes myself, appears to have crept into a few other places in the world, but passes America by like a needle in a heystack!

It's a long-running manga in Japan that began in the 70's and may still be in print today (guess the artist hasn't gotten tired on writing the same material over and over for years). The anime was around from the mid 90's to a few years ago I believe and was aired on FujiTV.

Ah yes. I read that hilarious Dragonball crossover once. In it, the main KochiKame character gave Freeza a parking ticket for where he parked his space ship and Freeza couldn't kill him, so he eventually left (with Vegeta hiding behind a rock). Hilarious.

I love the "Don't sit close to the TV thing," because Sentai shows do that too.
