Know any good horror books?

i like books about murder and things that are REALLY scary.no ghosts and zombies(etc)please.
just to let you know, I'm 13 and love the fear Street series by R.L Stine.
 
There is a book series based the "Final Destination" movies. Each film has a novelization, but there are also some books in the series that are original stories (with the same premise). I know one of them is called "Dead Reckoning".

Also, Lois Duncan (who wrote the novel that inspired "I Know What You Did Last Summer") is a great author of thrillers for young adults.
 
Have you read Carrie? James Herbert writes really good books they range from sci-fi style horror to ghosts. I'm not into murder books I prefer the paranormal/supernatural so I can't think which ones of Herbert are normal murder books.

I liked R.L.Stine, have you heard of the Point Horror series? All by different writers and areabout murder, teachers pet and the lifeguard are too brilliant book.s Check in your library or check amazon.
