Knocking sound on Ford Fiesta?

lower suspension arm bushes...common fault,around £30 from most parts stores.
or possible an anti roll bar link ,£12.
generally shockers dont knock,they just loose there oil and become extremely bouncy
 
About to buy a second hand Ford Fiesta, its a 5door 1.3 N reg. While driving there is a knocking sound, sounds like its coming from under the right wing mirror. What could this be? I'm thinking the shock absorbers but not sure.
