knife laws in California?

I think knife laws changed from 4 in. to 2 in.
but my question is i just baught a new knife on ebay that has a 2 inch blade but is a so called spring assisted instead of switchblade are spring assited knives 2 inches or under legal to carry around?
 
All knives no matter how big are legal to carry in California as long as they are visible. If it has a belt clip or something, clip it to your belt and you will be fine. Even if you had a sword, as long as it is not concealed it is perfectly legal...of course, our fascist, militaristic police will still take it from you without cause. (the sword)
