i have had a injury on my knee for 3 1/2 years and it pops almost all the time and since i play football (soccer) i have a real hard time moving fast or positioning myself for a shot when im kinda tired (it also hurts a lot its very vulnerable even if i poke it) so my question is should i quit football (soccer) or what can i do to make it feel better? since im getting in the college team and their exercise is tough.............sorry if its long

Yes you should quit! PLEASE quit! My neighbor had over 3 knee surgeries and kept mercilessly running for 3 miles AT LEAST a day, sometimes more than once a day, and he has permanent damage that will never be reversed because he won't take it easy.

I would choose a different sport, I wouldn't want to damage my knee permanently, and become handicapped for life. Perhaps, Baseball, or other male sports that don't require hard use of the legs, but more upper body strength?
