So I just found a feral kitten. Took it home spent a lot of time with it so he got used to people and being very confortable at our house. We took the kitten to the vet to find out he was a boy and 8 weeks old (he is about 9 weeks now). Well after spending about a week with the kitten I went to mexico and left the kitten with my friend who has has been taking care of him for about a week now.
my question is will it be stressful for the kitten to come back home to me after adjusting to my friends home? also I travel a lot and i hear that cats often get stressed when changing locations so i was wondering if i consistently let the same friend take care of the kitty will it be ok since he has been there before? My grandmother and I are travling to china and south africa this year so I'd like to know if this would be too stressful. I figured that since it was going to the same person it would be like a second home and that going back and forth between 2 places he already knows is less stressful than say a different friend/home every time i leave.

I was going to ask someone to come over to take care of the cat but my family and I are planning a trip to china and south africa so we will be gone for a few months so its a hassle for my friend to come to my house everyday. also these are 2 separate trips not one long trip...
