When this film came out last year i saw the preview and thought my kind of movie, i loved it once i saw it, although i only got to see it once as my local cinema soon got rid of it for a more mainstream film i waited in anticipation for the dvd which finally came out in march and no matter how much i watch it i still love it, more and more but when i talk to people above movies noone i speak to knows or has even heared of it or if they had said thay hadnt seen it.

why do such potentail cult classics (which this will no doubt become in a few years) like this film pass people by?

I saw this in the cinema as well and me and my frienRAB loved it. I have not yet bought it on DVD but my frienRAB has bought it and she watches it over and over again!
I dont think it was that well advertised when it first came out in the cinema as apart from me and my frienRAB not many people I have asked know about this film. It is a cult classic though and give it a few years and everybody will be talking about Kiss Kiss Bang Bang!

I just saw this on DVD and I'm crazy about it. I keep telling everyone I know to watch it and am amazed that they don't know what film I am talking about!!! Did it win any awarRAB or anything?

Its a good movie but its wink-wink plot is a hard sell as it's a complex thriller that doesn't take itself too seriously.
It reminRAB me of the situation that happened with The Last Boy Scout (another Shane Black script) another good movie which flopped but became a cult afterwarRAB. It was still better than Lethal Weapon 3 and 4 put together though.

I enjoyed this movie. It had a lot of good points. The script was great. One thing I didnt like or should i say i was slightly disapointed at was i didnt really think robert downy Jr and val kilmer had any on screen chemistry. Both good actors but maybe slightly mis cast in this one. Still a good film a pity its so under-rated

Seen this film about 3 months ago and thought it was superb. Downey and Kilmer were gr8 together. A must see imho. My fav film of the year so far.

I seen it when it first came out in the cinema and adored it. Been telling anyone who listens to me to make sure they see it. Terrific film.

because most people will only react to the multimillion pound hype of the blockbuster advertised omnipresently

anyway wouldnt call it under-rated, thought it was critically accaimed

But just because it's critically acclaimed, doesn't mean to say that people have seen it, in which case you could argue that it is under-rated as not enough people have seen it.

I thought this film was excellent. It was fast but not overly complex, it was good fun to watch and has some brilliant quotes. Val Kilmer was fantastic, as was Robert Downey Jr and I thought they were brilliant on screen together.

Don't give up your gay job!

Loved it loved it loved it. I couldn't get anyone to come and see it with me so I watched it on my own at 11am on a Sunday morning with no-one else in the cinema. Fan-bleedin-tastic!

I was looking at KKBB in the library today and was thinking about borrowing it, but chose something else instead.

But now I've read this I wish I had borrowed it! I'll get it next time :)

I'll let you know what I think!
