Started off well enough... but... that bit with Luanne just kinda killed the episode for me. =\

Hopefully a mystery will evolve on it's own.
 
Is anyone else a little creeped out by Joseph lately? I know all teens have had weird thoughts but dang... you try not to say them out loud.

"We're entering a dry county. And for election purposes it's long, so it'll be an hour before we're out of it." :D

It's been a while since we've see the Manger Babies. Love Peggy's reaction to them being pulled out.

And now... the mystery of who had sex in the bathroom.
 
Don't read too much into it, but Luanne and Minh look pretty nice in their 70s attire. Big Hank, finally letting his hair down. I am impressed.

The waitress talking about how the dry county is long and horizontal had me on the floor.
 
Now that was a GREAT episode. I love how the show, doesn't have to be over the top with the humor to tell a fun story and have me feel for the characters.
 
"It was that disco bastard!" That had me laughing.

This was one of my favorite episodes in a while. Just getting to a different setting was a nice change of pace, and I like how the episode almost looked like it was over after the first act, but Peggy and Hank doin' the nasty brought about a new plot before you knew it.
 
MANGER BABIES

I swear the room exploded in confetti the moment they appeared. It's been far too long. MANGER BABIES IN '08!

I'll give this a B. I had a good time and the episode remained interesting throughout.

Bobby's subplot didn't lead anywhere good, except for Joseph's golden lines. I wish I had the chance to write for Connie because I could probably "fix" her. She could be more interesting than she is.
 
I thought this was probably the best one tonight for all the shows. It was anything special, but hell it entertained me, and I missed most of the second act. I loved the opening, the mention of Quincy by Lucky, "It was that disco bastard!", "Lets pee on places where pee isnt supposed to be!", Bill's wig, the people leaving the train super early. I thought it was a solid episode with a simple story.

Grade-A. The change of scenery really added to the show tonight, and if you can sympathize with Peggy, then the writers must be doing a good job.

That was a great episode, everyone was on form and the plot was interesting. Seeing everyone in disco attire was the best; Dale was probably my favourite although Boomhauer gets and honourable mention. You know, I'm kinda glad we're getting another season.
 
Who were the two ambiguously gay guys Peggy invited on the train? I know I've seen them in another episode but my King of the Hill memory isn't as strong as it would be for The Simpsons or Family Guy.

A+ for the episode, strongest one of the block. I think the fact that KOTH is always seemingly not about to get another season pick-up is making the writers try extra hard to get that 'last season' just right, and since they keep getting picked up, that means they have to keep working harder to make the next season pretty memorable.

I also enjoy KOTH's emotional undertones that no other cartoon can really grasp at FOX. When Peggy was sad, sure, I didn't feel horrible, but I did understand that she was upset, unlike Family Guy where it just feels sort of weird (but Brian's episodes usually buck this trend) or The Simpsons where sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
