Broadcast Order: Season 13, Episode 3
Production Order: Season 12, Episode 18

Another new episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

It's nice to see the neighbors banding together to... destroy a devil house

"The good thing about living next to a substation is that our baby will grow up with superpowers." :p Lucky's on a roll tonight.

Yeah I looked up the term. It is a word used for a cheaply constructed mansion built with very cheap meterials, and made as quickly as possible.

Best way to describe the mansion: All style, no substance.

I liked this one better than the last two. King of the Hill's better episodes tend to be ones where they're expanding on their regular cast of characters.

The scene where the guy comes to pick up Hank and his friends made me lol.

The fact that they just went along with it made it even better.

Im confused about the ending. Did they just get rid of the power station and build the house on the lot, or did they use the house as a "cover" for the power station?

Man that was an obnoxious looking house. Funny that they built a house around the power substation. That's loving the look of a neighborhood. Funny episode.

They used the house as a *cover*. All it is is basically just four walls and a roof surrounding the substation, although I'd imagine with more sturdy material than Wassanasong had used for the Mcmansion.

I can't say I'd heard of McMansions before this and The Simpsons, either.

Anyway, it was all right; not their greatest though, mainly because the court room climax didn't really have any tension. You pretty much knew Hank and the gang would get off scott free.

I liked Khan getting psyched that Ted Wassanasong might be moving next door, and whose world crumbles when he finds out he isn't. The observations regarding the house blocking the sun were funny ("I can't tell if the burgers are cooked!"; "My body is weak from lack of sun"). And I did like the end of the second act when the neighborhood had to demolish the house; the storm gave them a legitimate excuse to destroy that eyesore.

I'm the only one who's heard of McMansions before last night? This may be the last time you hear of them again. The trend is probably dying, as it could only survive in a rising economy.
